of Children Children of our Shikshalaya centres are being evaluated in three ways. First, a continuous process of evaluation. Teachers evaluate their children everyday in the class of their own. Secondly, an evaluation is done after a chapter is covered. Children are given worksheets to do after they have finished their chapter. Lastly, a quarterly evaluation is performed. This time evaluation sheets are set by the Academic Resource Group of Loreto Day School Teachers Training Institute. The centres running under Shikshalaya have had their quarterly evaluation from 4 to 1 in numbers according to their sanctions.
With Each Evaluation we have been
able to track the progress of every child since the beginning of the
programme as well as those who have been mainstreamed, gone back to
the village or just dropped out (untraceable) as parents moved away
