Editorial

Dear Friends,

The Bible has many stories of the humble being exalted and the powerful being humbled. Moses, chosen to lead his people out of Egypt, David a shepherd boy, who slew Goliath, freed his people and became the King. Mary a poor peasant girl, chosen to be the mother of God and finally simple shepherds, who were the first to hear that the King of Kings was born.
…..and so we have come to the end of another year and among other events, we have just celebrated Children’s’ Day, the hope of the future, but can we really celebrate, when there are still thousands children in bondage, poverty, destitution and worse in child labour….

The child Jesus belongs to them…we dedicate this issue to the little ones, the weak ones, the ones who stand alone. Soon Christmas will be here, but do we have place in our hearts for Him? We must empty ourselves fully, and stoop low, to welcome Him. We must honour the child in the children, for Christmas is for children!
